First Midwest Conference on Culture, Language, and Cognition
May 13-15, 2005

The Program in Culture, Language, and Cognition is proud to sponsor a graduate student conference this year. Presenters include students from the University of Michigan, the University of Illinois (both Urbana-Champaign and Chicago campuses), the University of Chicago, Loyola University Chicago, Indiana University, Chicago State University, and Northwestern. Housing at Garrett-Evangelical Seminary

Twenty double occupancy rooms have been reserved in Loder Hall at the Garrett-Evangelical Seminary. Cost is $35 per person per night. Single occupancy rooms are also available for $50. These are basic accommodations: sheets and towels are provided, but bathrooms are communal.

To make a reservation, contact Susan Fowler @ 847-866-3950 or She will need your full name, the dates you will be arriving and leaving, and your credit card information. If you would like to share a room with someone in particular, you will each need to make separate reservations and both of you should tell Susan who you want to room with. Be sure to tell Susan that you are with the MCCLC conference.
